We found one online last year that was not a "subscription" base and was for a 2 year period. Works well with Outlook, Google Calendar, iOS, Android, Mac iCal etc. You can access documentation on how to manage your calendar with iCal on the Mac Basics: iCal (OSX Lion and earlier) web page or by accessing the Help menu within iCal. It will take a lot of alteration to fit our needs, but it's about all there is. I was finally able to get it to load and it might have to be my option. The comments made by several others on that particular website are expressing what I've experienced with it as well.
